In a major development, North Korean leadership has decided to not undertake any further nuclear tests and the launches of Intercontinental ballistic missiles. The North Korean supreme leader Kim Jong-Un conveyed to the United States that the country would also shut down a nuclear test site on the northern side to prove the vow to suspend nuclear tests.

Earlier on Saturday, the North Korean media ran a statement from Kim Jong Un saying the nation no longer needed nuclear weapons or long-range missiles.

These announcements come ahead of the bilateral summit being planned between the United States of America and North Korea which have been confirmed after the clandestine visit of CIA chief and to be confirmed Secretary of State Mike Pompeau to Pyongyang earlier this week.
