[WATCH]: Alaska Airlines Plane Crashes After Unauthorised Take Off From Seattle Airport

In a never seen steal, an Alaska Airlines employee stole a horizon air Q400 plane from Seattle–Tacoma International Airport (Sea-Tac) that has crashed in south Puget Sound on Saturday.

“An airline employee conducted an unauthorised takeoff without passengers at Sea-Tac aircraft has crashed in south Puget Sound. Normal operations at Sea-Tac Airport have resumed.”

The Alaska Airlines confirmed on Saturday that Horizon Air Q400 takeoff from SeaTac around 8 pm has gone down near Ketron Island in Pierce County.

The airline took to Twitter, “We've confirmed a Horizon Air Q400 that had an unauthorized takeoff from SeaTac around 8 pm has gone down near Ketron Island in Pierce County, WA. We're working to confirm who was on board, we believe there were no guests or crew on board other than the person operating the plane.”

The primary law enforcement agency for Pierce County in Washington, Pierce County Sheriff's Department has confirmed that there were no passenger or crew members present on the airplane. The unauthorized pilot has been identified as a suicidal male.

"This is not a terrorist incident. We have confirmed the information. We know who he is. No others are involved," the Pierce County Sheriff's Department said in a statement.
