Pakistan on Friday showed yet another move of two-faced diplomacy, while on one hand Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan requested for a diplomatic meet between the nations, on the other side, the postal department of the country issued postal stamps honoring the Kashmiri militant Burhan Wani who was killed by security forces in an encounter in the Kashmir.

Taking the battle to another level, the postal department issued a series of postal stamps in memory of various events and individuals concerning Kashmir. The move came just a few days ahead of the United Nations General Assembly meeting.

Dead Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani was declared a ‘freedom icon’ by Pakistan in the special series of postal stamps titled ‘Atrocities In Indian Occupied Kashmir'.

An Indian daily quoted a senior official of Pakistan Post as saying that the stamps were issued from its headquarters in Karachi on July 24 to locally and internationally highlight the plight of people living in Kashmir.

The other captions are printed with captions such as ‘use of chemical weapons’, ‘use of pellet guns’, ‘mass graves’, ‘braid chopping’, 'human shield' and the pictures are those of militants killed in encounters in the Kashmir Valley over the last few years.

Imran Khan on Thursday requested the Indian government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to resume the bilateral talks between the two nations, while on the same day, the Pakistani Rangers instead of returning the body of a deceased Indian Soldier of the Border Security Force (BSF), slit the throat of the martyr and also made an attempt to gouge his eyes.

The Tale Of Sweet Poison

The neighboring country on the front is talking of peace and prosperity and is shadowing and shielding terrorism under its hood

In another incident on Friday, barely days after the Hizbul Mujahideen militant group threatened the security personnel in Jammu and Kashmir to either resign or die, 3 policemen were abducted and killed on Friday in the Shopian district of south Kashmir by terrorists.

Patriotic Indian

If the Indian Government was actually not actively looking for an excuse to back out of the talks without looking bad, it would not make an issue of pre-talk activities. The mentioned incidents are the supposed to be doscussed in the same talks that India is whimping out of.
