A top minister from the newly elect Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan was seen sharing a stage with globally acclaimed terrorist and mastermind of 26/11 attacks Hafiz Saeed. According to reports, the programme was held on Sunday.

After the alleged incident, Imran Khan and Hafiz Saeed nexus has come into light for the first time ever since Khan took charge as the Prime Minister of Pakistan.

Imran Kan’s top aide and Pakistan Federal Minister on Religious Affairs Mufti Noor Ul Haq Qadri shared a stage with globally designated terrorist and mastermind of 26/11 attacks Hafiz Saeed in Islamabad city of Pakistan. Others who attended the event included Maulana Sami ul-Haq and Muhammad Yaqub Sheikh.

The banner in the picture says the conference was for "the defence of Pakistan," and mentions Kashmir and India's threats.

The Difa-e-Pakistan Council is a coalition of over 40 Pakistani political and religious parties that advocate conservative policies. Qadri's presence at the event with Hafiz Saeed vindicated India's stand after it ripped into Pakistan at the UN meet, calling it the breeder and keeper of terrorism

Hafiz Saeed carries a USD 10 million American bounty on his head for his role in terror activities. His organisation, Jammat-ud-Dawah, was declared as a foreign terrorist organisation by the US in June 2014.

Saeed had floated a political party to contest the National Assembly elections that were held earlier this year. His front the Milli Muslim League was soon listed by the United State as a foreign terrorist organisation. The MML was later barred from contesting polls by the Election Commission of Pakistan but decided to fight on the platform of the Allaha-u-Akbar Tehreek (AAT), which was registered in the ECP.
