Adding another cryptic tweet on the escalating situation between North Korea and the world, US President Donald Trump hinted that it may be time to end talking and that 'only one thing will work' against North Korea.

"Presidents and their administrations have been talking to North Korea for 25 years, agreements made and massive amounts of money paid . . . hasn't worked, agreements violated before the ink was dry, makings fools of U.S. negotiators. Sorry, but only one thing will work!" Trump tweeted on Saturday.

North Korea's nuclear tests, including the test of a reported thermonuclear hydrogen bomb on September 3 raised massive concerns for the international community, especially Japan and the US.

The Supreme leader of North Korea Kim Jong-Un, confirming the nuclear test had said that it was capable of being put on an intercontinental ballistic missile that could reach the US mainland, following up by sending two missiles over Japan.

Levelling a series of increasingly stringent sanctions on North Korea, the President Trump mocked Jong-Un as 'little rocket man' and threats between the two countries gained pace, as North Korea claimed that Trump's tweets were equivalent to the US declaring war on North Korea.

After US bombers flew past the North Korea coastline, escorted by Japanese jets, North Korea threatened to shoot down any other bombers that flew close to its territory even if the bombers do not enter the North Korean airspace.

Tightening the noose on North Korea, US called for action by China, the key economic supporter of Pyongyang.
