Gunmen Attack Chinese Consulate In Karachi, 2 Policemen Killed

Explosions and firing were reported by local media in Pakistan on Friday, near the Chinese Consulate in the Pakistani port city of Karachi.

According to media reports, at least three to four suspected terrorists allegedly tried to enter the Chinese embassy. The area is in the red alert zone since Consulates of different countries is in this area.

It also reported that at least two policemen have been killed and a security guard wounded during the exchange of fire.

Baloch Liberation Army, a separatist group has claimed responsibility for the attack on Chinese Consulate in Karachi.

The firing took place near the Clifton area. Karachi police and Pakistan Rangers have taken the area under their control. And all roads leading to the Consulate have been closed for any commute.
