United States President Donald Trump’s retweet of British Far Right anti Muslim videos gathered quite a storm on Thursday with the British premier Theresa May condemning it and Trump giving it back to her.

However the most important reaction to his retweets came from the Dutch Embassy in the Unites States who took to twitter and acted as fact-checker for Trump.

One of the videos tweeted by Trump read “Muslim migrant beats up Dutch boy on crutches!”

The Netherlands Embassy in the United States of America replied to Trump saying “Facts do matter. The perpetrator of the violent act in this video was born and raised in the Netherlands. He received and completed his sentence under Dutch law.”

The Public Prosecutor’s office of the North Holland District had earlier tweeted the details of the video that Trump had retweeted.

All the three videos retweeted by Donald Trump have turned out to be factually wrong on context.
