After being infamous for unchecked deaths due to the operations conducted in places like, Pakistan's North Waziristan and Yemen previously, Drones are hovering the skies of Nepal, this time with hope of saving lives. Nepal was hit by a massive earthquake of 7.8 magnitude last Saturday. An international charity organisation 'Global Medic' is operating the drones in Nepal which are flying throughout the country and helping in assessing the damage and gathering the other relevant information. These drones have been providing the high definition sky view of the landscape of earthquake ravaged Nepal and providing the visuals which have stunned the people across the globe. The footage has so far helped in getting the actual condition on ground and has proven quite helpful as the videos and imagery is being shared with not only the Nepal government but also with the organisations busy in relief and rescue operations in this Himalayan region. The drones were also used last year for aid work  and assessment in Philippines after the deadly typhoon Hagupit.
