Better known as the Amitabh Bachchan of comedy on Indian television, Kapil Sharma's new show titled 'Family time with Kapil Sharma' was awaited by his ardent fans for months. The show was finally premiered on Sunday but Twitterati doesn't seem to be pleased.

Many were anticipating to return to their weekend ritual of laughing their hearts out watching the comedian's antics but disappointingly, nothing of the sorts happened. In fact, the viewers were left displeased with the "boring" comeback of Comedy King.

Well, that's not us but the crestfallen audience who were anticipating an all-new concept from Sharma and Company but the old puns which earlier erupted chuckles from the viewers didn't seem funny anymore and the added jibes on sexism didn't help either.

Maybe it is the degraded energy levels of the main cast or the repetitive script, poor narrative or the lack of coordination between the crew members. Despite the Oprah-like set, extravagant budget and the presence of ever-jolly Navjot Singh Sidhu, the audience was unhappy.

Neha Pendse has taken over the hosting but Kapil still got the major screen space. Kiku Sharda and Chandan Prabhakar tried to tickle the funny bones of the audience but failed. A number of internet users took their reactions to Twitter and expressed their chagrin.
