The drama and politics continued in the Lok Sabha on Friday as the no-confidence motion was raised in the Parliament.

Rahul Gandhi reversed the serious tone of the Lok Sabha after his 38-minute attack on the BJP government with a hug to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

While looking directly at Modi, Rahul Gandhi said, “You may call me Pappu, but I don’t hate you.” and then walked across to embrace him. The Congress leader has been ridiculed on social media for saying in a past session that if he was allowed to speak in the house, there would be an ‘earthquake’.

After the hugging incident, the ruling Bhartiya Janta Party took it to Twitter and wrote, “We cannot thank you enough for the entertainment!”

The meme game continued as a hoard of memes flooded the social media.
