According to International Labour Organisation (ILO), the world average wage in terms of Purchasing Power Parity (PPP) dollars is $1480.
PPP is a technique used to determine the relative value of different currencies.
According to this report, India's monthly average wage is $295 and ranks in the last four with Pakistan sitting at the bottom with an average wage of $255.
The top ranking country with the highest average wage is Luxembourg with PPP in dollar value at $4,089. The United States ranks on number four, followed by the United Kingdom.
