Indians are in a festive mood currently and nothing can dampen their spirits. The news of Rajkumar Rao's 'Newton' making it to the Oscars only delighted them further.

Amit Masurkar directorial has garnered many praises for the socially relevant satire, which seldom gets boring while watching. The movie is gaining popularity at a fast pace which sparked the interests of the Twitterati as well.

Internet users were highly inspired by a scene in the film between Rajkumar Rao and Pankaj Tripathi where the latter challenges Newton (Rajkumar Rao) that no one will turn up for the voting. He said, "Main likh ke deta hun, koi nahi aayega" followed by Rao's remark, "Likh ke dijiye". 

Twitterati couldn't stop themselves from creating some side-splitting memes based on both the dialogues which are going viral.

The film had its world premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival where the jury was highly impressed by the concept. The film produced by Manish Mundra even won an award at the prestigious event. 

'Newton' revolves around a serious subject which has engrossed many as it tackles the depths of India's struggle to achieve corruption-free votes in desert areas of the country during elections.

The film portrays the struggle faced by the lead character who has been sent to conduct elections in a Naxalite-prone area of Chattisgarh. The film is receiving many praises and a great box-office response.
