Malayalam Director IV Sasi Passes Away At 69, Twitterati Mourns Over The Legend's Death

Renowned for directing more than 150 films, filmmaker I.V. Sasi took his last breath at the age of 69 on Tuesday. The director was reportedly witnessing some breathing issues for which he was being treated in Chennai where he passed away.

The celebrated filmmaker has contributed more than 3 decades of his film to films and earned credit for helming many popular Malayalam, Tamil and Hindi genres. He is survived by his wife and popular actress Seema along with their children - Anu and Ani.

He started his career by directing 'Ulsavam', following which he gave many hit films including 'Ee Nadu', 'Itha IvideVare', 'Angadi', 'Vartha', 'Devasuram', 'Avanazhi' and 'Avalude Ravukal'. At his demise, not just his closed ones, the entire nation is mourning.
