Google is the go-to answer for any question or query and has almost entirely replaced the earlier concept of checking facts in encyclopaedias, however, it might not be a good idea to blindly believe Google, after all, machines also make mistakes?

A screenshot of a person's Google search for 'India's first PM' went viral after Google replied with some unexpected results. While Google got the name of India's first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru correct, it depicted an image of current Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with the name of India's first PM.

According to some reports, it's likely that the search engine got confused about the name and the picture as PM Modi has been 'India's first PM' to visit Israel, 'India's first PM' to visit Sweden in 30 years and 'India's first PM' to implement Goods and Services Tax.

Regardless of the rationale behind the error, Twitterati had a field day sharing Google's faux pas online.
