Musician Tom Petty who took his last breath on Monday at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles. Reportedly, the legendary singer suffered a heart attack and was found unconscious at his home in Malibu when the paramedics reached.

After being placed on the life support system, the breathing evened out for a while but soon vanished. The legend bid farewell to the world on the late, following which his longtime manager confirmed the news on Twitter.

The rockstar stormed the music industry with his indescribable talent in 1976 when he introduced his band 'Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers'. Ever since then, there was no looking back for the icon, who won million hearts during his musical journey.

Tom's final live performance was on September 25th where he performed at the Hollywood Bowl in LA for the musical tour which kick-started in April this year. His fans from all over the world are mourning over the loss of such gem.
