Indian cricket team finally won the maiden Test series win in Australia after 72 years on Monday. The Indian Army was at hand to cheer for the Indian cricketers as they returned to their hotel following the rain washout in Sydney.

Buoyant after the historic win, Indian players celebrated in emphatic fashion with a full-fledged round of dancing in the team hotel along with the Bharat Army.

All-rounder Hardik Pandya was quick to join in for a dance while rest of his teammates chipped in later.

The official supporters group joined the players in the team hotel as everyone danced on the famous Bollywood tunes like ‘ye mere dil, par ka dewana’ and “mere desh ki dharti’.

Captain Kohli led charge showing off some Naagin Dance moves as well. Apart from it, the Indian cricketers performed traditional bhangra as well.

While the way the series ended, a draw in the final Test thanks to two days of incessant rain, wasn’t exactly ideal, it certainly did not put a dampener on the spirits of the Indian players.

At the ground, The players engaged in a hilarious dance celebration in front of the traveling Indian fans and when asked about it after the match, Kohli dubbed it the “Pujara dance” and revealed that Rishabh Pant came up with it as a joke on the way India’s number three walks.

Pujara's dancing skills were laid bare for the world to see. One of the best batsmen in the game, Cheteshwar Pujara finished with 521 runs from four Tests and won the man-of-the-series.

However, when Pant got Pujara to do a little gig, the Saurashtra run-machine ended up looking a little comic.

India headed into the Sydney Test leading the series 2-1 with wins in Adelaide and Melbourne. A draw was what the visitors needed to lift the trophy and that's how the 4th Test panned out.
