'Parmanu' Teaser: Determined John Abraham On Secret Mission To Make India A Nuclear Power

The unsaid story of India becoming a nuclear power after battling through multiple obstacles will soon be coming to theatres with John Abraham and Diana Penty starrer 'Parmanu'. Amidst being embroiled in a legal battle with KriArj Entertainment, the actor released the film's teaser.

The one-minute teaser gives the audience a glimpse of the "biggest secret operation that shook the world" in 1998 while disclosing the new release date. The video ascertains that the forthcoming film will take the viewers through a roller-coaster ride of India becoming a nuclear power.

After a series of nuclear tests in the city of Pokhran in 1998 under the leadership of the then Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the mission was completed successfully. However, the journey to reach the aim was excruciating due to the political and international atmosphere of the year.

'Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran' explores the mission through the eyes of an armed forces personnel played by Abraham, who had an important role in making the mission successful. The documentary footages, John's declaration and Boman Irani's voice in the background pique the viewers' interest.

Helmed by Abhishek Sharma, the film will now hit the theatres on May 4. However, the eager audience is advised not to expect much as it won't be a surprise if the film's release is delayed for the fourth time due to the ongoing battle between JA Entertainment and KriArj Entertainment.
