Bollywood Khiladi Kumar is all ready to raise his voice for another social evil existing in the Indian society with R Balki's PadMan. After piquing the curiosity of audience with intriguing posters and interesting concept, the makers have finally released an official trailer for the film.

The trailer is interesting and addresses the issue of menstrual hygiene in India's rural regions. The comparison of America's superheroes with Indian PadMan in Amitabh Bachchan's opening narration generates a proud feeling in the hearts of patriots followed by Akshay's daredevil act of trying a homemade sanitary napkin by using it himself.

Kumar's romantic movements with on-screen wife Radhika Apte will force a dreamy sigh out of the viewers which somehow faded the impact of Sonam's entry when the others turn their back at the revolutionist for his bizarre idea of making suitable feminine hygiene products.

After being shunned by his family and villagers, Akshay receives the support of a social worker who helps him in manufacturing the sanitary napkins at a larger scale while spreading the awareness of menstrual hygiene among rural women. His noble cause is soon joined by others including his wife, who was earlier ashamed of her husband's involvement in women matters.

'Padman' revolves around the life of India's 'menstrual man' Arunachalam Muruganantham - a revolutionary social activist belonging to Tamil Nadu transformed the concept of menstrual hygiene in rural India by creating a low-cost sanitary napkins machine. The film is slated to hit the theatres on January 26, 2018.
