Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar's upcoming film PadMan has been breaking stereotypes since it was announced, due to its off-beat topic of menstrual hygiene. The latest song from the movie, 'Hu Ba Hu' breaks another stereotype, that relations with women are typically romantically inclined, as it depicts the growing closeness in the work relation between Akshay and the film's actress Sonam Kapoor.

While Bollywood actress Radhika Apte plays the romantic interest of Akshay in PadMan, Sonam is his 'strength' in his quest for making affordable sanitary pads and his 'work partner'.

The song is upbeat and catchy, with music provided by Amit Trivedi, who is also the singer of the song 'Hu Ba Hu'.

Star of the film, Akshay Kumar, shared the song in a tweet captioned, "You don't have to be life partners to change could just be #HuBaHu! New song from @PadManTheFilm out now!"

The film PadMan is an adaptation of actress Twinkle Khanna's short story based on the real-life story Arunachalam Muruganantham, a social activist from Tamil Nadu. Muruganantham revolutionized the concept of menstrual hygiene in rural India by inventing a machine to mass produce low-cost sanitary napkins. PadMan marks the debut of Twinkle Khanna, wife of Akshay Kumar, as a producer, and is set to release on January 26, 2018.
