Director Tigmanshu Dhulia's venture Milan Talkies has been in news for the casting problems it faced for the lead actor of the film and after much delay, the trailer of the movie was released on Wednesday.

Fukrey and Mirzapur fame Ali Fazal is in the lead role and joining him as the female lead in Milan Talkies is the pretty Shraddha Srinath in her Bollywood debut. The actress is quite popular down South for her involvement in films like Vikram Vedha and Richie.

The trailer shows the love story between Ali and Shraddha who face miserable circumstances and go through tough times to fight for their love.

The film is set in the backdrop of a small town in Uttar Pradesh and revolves around the love story of a boy who wants to be a filmmaker and falls in love with a girl-next-door and how they face several problems after they fall in love with each other.

As the two begin exploring new territories in their romance, Sikander Kher and Ashutosh Rana introduce the perfect element of the unapproving family members who completely reject the duo.

The trailer looks super fun and the idea of setting it against the backdrop of films works well. The star cast is another thing that attracts your attention. Ali Fazal easily slips into the role of a small town wannabe, Shraddha Srinath has already proved her acting talent with her debut Kannada movie U-Turn and is looking quite beautiful in the trailer.
