The first song from Tigmanshu Dhulia’s much-awaited film Milan Talkies was finally released on Tuesday and it’s titled 'Bakaiti'. Sung by Sukhwinder Singh and Benny Dayal, the song definitely captures the vibe of the film.

Bakaiti is a nice, catchy number and will stick in your head after hearing it a few times. The lyrics and the music both give out a very North Indian feel which is hardly surprising because it’s a Tigmashu Dhulia film.

The song plays on this theme of a stubborn young man following his dream at all costs. The theme of ‘Bakaiti’ is a mockery of the insult that people often throw in the way of dreamers, calling their ambition ‘tall tales’.

Music and lyrics are given by Rana Mazumder and Amitabh Bhattacharya respectively. Back on the mike for this song are Sukhwinder Singh and Benny Dayal.

Directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia MilanTalkies stars Ali Fazal in the lead role and marks the Hindi film debut of Kannada star Shraddha Srinath. The movie is about a struggler, who wants to become the biggest filmmaker in India, how his life revolves around movies and how he falls in love filmy style. The film is slated to release on March 15.
