Mentally Unstable Man Tries To Barge Into Delhi's Kerala House With A Knife [WATCH]

A mentally unstable man attempted to barge in the premises of the Kerala House in the national capital on Saturday. The man was allegedly carrying a knife in his hand. However, quick response from the security officials stopped him from the unauthorized entry.

 

According to media reports, the person is identified as Vimal Raj and is a native of the state of Kerala. The police said that he is mentally unstable and upon his apprehension, he is being taken to the Institute of Human Behaviour and Allied Sciences (IHBAS).

When the alleged incident took place at the Kerala House, Chief Minister of the state, Pinarayi Vijayan was also present in the official building.

Abdullah’s House

Earlier today, a man tried to barge inside former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah’s house at Bhatindi in Jammu on Saturday morning. The man was gunned down by CRPF security guards.

 

Inspector General of Police (IGP) Jammu Zone, SDS Jamwal told the media that the man has been identified as Mufad Shah of Ghoulath in Poonch district. The incident took place around 9:30 AM.

“It was a forced entry by the intruder who first gate crashed a Mahindra XUV at the Bhatindi residence of former chief minister Dr. Farooq Abdullah. He then tried to snatch weapon of a CRPF personnel. He also had a scuffle in the lobby area of the house,” he said.
