After ruling the charts with 'Apna Time Aayega', the makers of Gully Boy are back with yet another rap 'Mere Gully Mein', which was released on Tuesday morning.

The makers of the film will also treat their fans with a grand music launch event later in the day which is powered by Bira.

This song is sung by Ranveer Singh and joining him are the forces on whose life the movie is based on Divine and Naezy.

The actor shared the link of the song on his Twitter account captioning '#MereGullyMein Out Now!'

The 2.56-minutes-long track begins with a small chat between Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ranveer Singh. The duo wants the new listeners and viewers to come to their Gully and see what happens.

Right from the beat, the rap battle choreography and the vibe, the video, as well as the song, is lit.

The slum dwelling is not exactly glorified in the track. Instead, it is put across as a way of life, one without much hesitation or worries.

Much like the underground hip-hop scene, here too, we see rap artists shooting in their neighborhood and making the most out of their resources.

The song is a recreation of Divine and Naezy’s rap with the same title which was released 3 years ago. It’s heavily inspired by the original and Ranveer and Siddhant Chaturvedi nail the avatars of Divine and Naezy.

Directed by Zoya Akhtar, Gully Boy is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under the banner of Excel Entertainment in association with Tiger Baby and this film on the underground rap movement in India is slated to release on February 14.
