Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus 'Padmaavat', originally titled Padmavati, has finally found a release date after battling many protests and controversies. After facing a major backlash from the regional fringe groups, politicians and individuals, the film will now enjoy a single film release on January 25.

Soon after Akshay Kumar announced to push forward his ambitious film PadMan for facilitating Padmaavat, the makers treated the fans with some new dialogue promos from the film as a celebratory gift. While one clip focuses on Ranveer Singh's crazy yet powerful character, the other one focuses on Deepika's prideful queen.

Shahid Kapoor also made his presence known in the promos but it was Deepika who stole the limelight with her convincing portrayal of Chittore's warrior queen, Rani Padmavati. Ranveer's maniac play as the tyrant ruler Alauddin Khilji also left an impact with his menacing dialogue delivery.

The makers also treated us with a glimpse of the leading pair's heart-stopping romance which can put real-life lovers to shame. While Deepika's sensual demeanour can make her lover boys sweat, Shahid's adoration for his better half is infectious.

From the promos, Shahid's Maharawal Ratan Singh came out as a rather calm warrior who is smitten with his wife's beauty and determined to protect her from all the evils in this world. Padmaavat was recently granted a U/A certificate by Censor Board on December 28, last year.

Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor starrer Padmaavat revolve around the queen Padmini of Chittore, her husband Rawal Ratan Singh and the adversities they face while fighting the tyrant ruler Alauddin Khilji. With the runtime of 2 hours and 43 minutes, the film will hit the theatres on January 25, 2018.
