The stories surrounding Sanjay Dutt's controversial life never cease to amaze his massive array of followers, who all are eagerly waiting for the release of his biopic 'Sanju'. While the film has days pending before hitting the theatres, makers dropped the film's official trailer to feed the fans' curiosity.

Tracing through multiple areas of Sanjay Dutt's controversial life, the almost 3-minute trailer clearly establishes that the veteran actor has indulged into various immoral activities through his life but terrorism was certainly not one of those, a crime for which he spent a considerable amount in jail without committing it.

Ranbir Kapoor, as clarified by the teaser and many posters released by the makers, is convincing as Sanjay Dutt. His resemblance to Bollywood's "bad boy" is contagious and the perfection with which he has performed each scene ensures the viewers that they are in for a treat with Sanju.

The trailer briefly touches upon Sanjay's troubled marriage, Drug addiction, underworld connection, the tryst with flop films, bond with father Sunil Dutt and inspiring friendship with Kumar Gaurav but most of all it focused on his heart-wrenching time in prison over conviction in 1993 bomb blast case.

Viewers are thrilled after watching the trailer and are flooding the social media platforms with praises for Ranbir Kapoor and director Rajkumar Hirani along with other actors. From his love affairs, playboy image, acting career or tryst with illegal arms, Sanjay Dutt has been anything but usual.

The actor has dealt with various difficult and interesting situations in life, which will all now be in open for public scrutiny in 'Sanju' on June 29, 2018. The film also stars Anushka Sharma, Paresh Rawal as Sunil Dutt, Sonam Kapoor, Manisha Koirala as Sanjay's mother Nargis and Vicky Kaushal as his best friend.
