Nokia 2 In India From Mid-November, Launched With 4,100mAh Battery Life

Ever since making a comeback in the mobile market earlier this year, Nokia is not ready to stop for a second and is working hard to tap all the segments of smartphones soon. In another attempt to entice the middle-level customers, HMD Global launched its entry-level Android smartphone, Nokia 2 in India on Tuesday.

As marketed by the company to be the device's USP, the smartphone supports 4100mAh of battery life which has the 2-day running capacity. With 5-inch HD display, the smartphone is protected with the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and features a 6000 Series Aluminium frame, which adds to its overall appeal.

Powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 212 SoC, the smartphone runs Android Nougat with a promised update of Oreo arriving soon. The device supports Google Assistant, which is an added highlight apart from its 8 GB expandable internal storage. It is supported by the RAM of 1 GB.

Nokia has always made the customers happy with their camera quality which for this device will be 8MP for the rear with autofocus camera with LED flash and a 5MP of selfie shooter. The smartphone will be available in the Indian markets by mid-November in three colour variants - copper, black, and white.

Given the global price of 99 Euros, Nokia 2 is expected to be available in India at Rs 6,000- Rs 7,500. The smartphone also supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio with RDS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
