WhatsApp's recently introduced “Delete for Everyone” feature has now submitted a new update to the Apple App Store. The latest WhatsApp version 2.18.31. will extend the time set for reviewing a message sent to a contact, or in a group. It will now offer iOS users a chance to erase a message for everyone under 4,096 seconds or 68 minutes as media reported on Sunday.

WABetaInfo released the confirmation of the new update on Twitter. “A new WhatsApp for iOS update (2.18.31) is available on AppStore. It is a bug fixes update, but it has the new “Delete for everyone” limit, that’s 1 hour, 8 minutes and 16 seconds.”

The “Delete for Everyone” feature was introduced by WhatsApp last year in November which allowed the users to delete a sent message within 420 seconds or 7 minutes.

An addition was made to the instant messaging platform to allow the users to delete the message accidentally sent to a wrong contact or a group.

WhatsApp is also reportedly working on a new ‘Forwarded message’ feature to make the receiver aware that the sender has forwarded it from a different chat or group, or even from the same chat.
