Google's latest smartphone Pixel 2 XL launched in October 2017 is seen as a competition to the iPhone X, and if you are confused between the both we will clear it out with the comparison that would help you make the right decision.


If Pixel 2 XL is compared with iPhone X it is obvious that Apple's latest device will empty your pockets bit more. The Pixel 2 XL will be available in India at a price tag of Rs. 73,000 for the 64GB variant and Rs. 82,000 for the 128GB storage variant.

Apple's latest iPhone X will cost you Rs. 89,000 for the 64GB variant and Rs. 1,02,000 for the 256GB storage variant. 

Special features

iPhone X- iPhone X comes with Face ID facial recognition feature which means you can just unlock the device just giving a look at its camera. Apple’s claims are more accurate than the older biometric system.

Pixel 2 XL- It will have special Google Lens which is more of that AI stuff and it will help the user spotting a picture and give them search results based on the object it is pointed at. For example, If a user takes picture of a dog it will tell you what kind of dog it is, isn't it special? Kind of Hollywood films.

In India Google's Pixel 2 XL will be available for pre-orders from October 26 onwards and go on sale from November 15 whereas iPhone X pre-orders will start on October 27, and shipping will begin on November 3.

Key Specifications

Coming to iPhone X, it will feature a bezel-less design with a 5.8-inch Super AMOLED True Tone display. The device will run on iOS 11-powered by A11 Bionic hexa-core chip inside paired with 3GB RAM. 

In iPhone X, the buyers get two storage variants – 64GB and 256GB but unfortunately with no storage expansion support. iPhone X is IP67 certified which makes it waterproof. 

For photography iPhone X sports a 12-megapixel primary camera and a 7-megapixel front camera for selfies.

The Apple iPhone X will run on iOS 11 and will be backed by a 2716mAh battery.  

Google Pixel features a 6.00-inch touchscreen display, powered by 1.9GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor paired with 4GB of RAM.The device comes with 64GB of internal storage with no storage expansion options. For photography Pixel 2 XL sports a 12.2-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel camera selfies.

The Google Pixel 2 XL will run on Android 8.0.0, backed by a 3520mAh battery.
