Apple finally released iOS 11.3 update on Friday after several weeks of testing, making it available for all eligible iPhones 6 users and later. The new update comes in different sizes depending on a particular device, with a size of a little over 700MB in size.

The update introduced a new battery health feature to check whether iOS device’s battery needs service.

“Users can now see if the power management feature that dynamically manages maximum performance to prevent unexpected shutdowns, first introduced in iOS 10.2.1, is on and can choose to turn it off,” Apple said in a statement late Thursday.

Here's how to Download and Install the update;

To update to iOS 11.3. Go to Settings > General > Software Update. If you’ve got an older version of iOS, tap Download and Install to update.

In addition to battery health option, Apple iOS 11.3 also delivered new immersive augmented reality (AR) experiences for the iPhone X users.

“With iOS 11.3, apps can now deliver AR experiences that use vertical surfaces like walls and doors, in addition to horizontal surfaces like tables and chairs, and more accurately map to irregularly shaped surfaces like circular tables,” Apple said.

"iPhone X users can now enjoy even more Animoji with lion, bear, dragon or a skull," it further added.

Besides, iOS 11.3 provided users with Business Chat, Health Records, data privacy policy, and bug-fixes.
