German playmaker Mesut Ozil and Welsh midfielder Aaron Ramsey will miss Arsenal’s second leg tie of Last-32 in Europa League against Ostersunds. They have a 3-0 goal advantage.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger took an almost full-strength squad to Sweden for the first leg, and will now be looking to give youngsters a chance at The Emirates.

Even though Ozil and Ramsey trained with the first team on Wednesday, Wenger ruled both of them out.

Ozil has been unwell since Monday whereas Ramsey is still recovering after suffering a groin injury.

In their absence, the onus to be the attacking midfielder falls on Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

With Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang being cup-tied, and Alexander Lacazette injured, Danny Welbeck is expected to start up front.

Arsenal are sixth in the Premier League, eight points adrift of fourth-placed Chelsea, and need to finish the season in top-four or win the Europa League to qualify for next season’s Champions League.

Wenger was asked if he will also prioritize Europa League like Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho did last season.

“We have to focus on the Premier League. It (Europa League) is one of the priorities we have. We are focused to do well. But ideally, we want to come back to the Champions League through the Premier League." , said the Frenchmen.

United finished sixth and still qualified for UEFA Champions League as they winning Europa League got automatic promotion.
