Cristiano Ronaldo’s Real Madrid will host their quarter-final opponents Juventus in the second leg tie in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday. Real Madrid won the first leg in Turin thanks to a Ronaldo masterclass by 3-0.

Cristiano Ronaldo had single-handedly dismantled the Italian Champions when the two teams met last week in Italy. Not only did he score two goals he also created the third one as well to exhibit a complete performance.

His second goal was an audacious overhead kick which dampened the spirits of Juventus and captured all the headlines.

Real Madrid has a healthy lead of three away goals and it will take more than a Goliath effort from Juventus to dispel their Spanish opponents from ensuring their spot in the final four.

Elsewhere, Bayern Munich will host Sevilla in an intriguing contest on Wednesday after the first leg in Spain which Bayern Munich won by 2-1.

Bayern have one foot in a seventh European semi-final in nine years after earning a 2-1 away win at Sevilla in last week's first leg. However, Sevilla have already proved how dangerous they can be away from home in Europe.

After a goalless draw in Seville in the last 16, they dumped Jose Mourinho's United out with a 2-1 win at Old Trafford last month with French striker Wissam Ben Yedder scoring both goals.

Bayern though has been formidable at Allianz Arena, demolishing Hamburg and Borussia Dortmund by 6-0 in their last two home games.
