Russia And Uruguay Qualify For The Knockout In FIFA 2018

With a few games left in the blockbuster group stage in the FIFA World Cup 2018, Russia and Uruguay from group A have secured their spot in the knockout stage. Host Russia has been dominating the points table from the beginning, but they needed Uruguay's win to confirm their spot formally and it happened as Uruguay defeated Saudi Arabia 1-0 on Wednesday.

Now, Russia will face Uruguay on a final Group A game on 25th June.

In Group B, Spain and Portugal who ended their first match in a draw have won their second group stage games are leading the group B's points table. Both the teams are strong claimants for the knockout stage.

It will be interesting to know that who will steal the show today. Denmark will play against the Aussies from group C. The Danes who will walk in confidently in their second match after beating Peru in the first match, while the Australian team will fight for their first win after being edged by France in the opening match.

Whereas France and Argentina will face Peru and Croatia respectively.
