After a controversial red card was given to Portuguese superstar and a five-time Ballon d'Or winner, Cristiano Ronaldo on Wednesday while playing for his team Juventus against Valencia, Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri has dismissed the talks that Ronaldo has something to prove after a red card given to him.

Allegri said that he is a magical player and he has done a lot throughout his long career.

Allegri was quoted by the goal as saying, "Everyone always has very high expectations of him but do you think he still has something to prove? I think he simply needs to play and enjoy himself, scoring goals as he always does. He has already proved everything in his career."

"He is a very a demanding player, especially with himself, so I'm sure he will play a great game. Wednesday's episode is already in the past."

Ronaldo was sent off in the champions league for the first time. Juventus won that match against Valencia by 2-0.

Commenting on the upcoming matches of Ronaldo in the champions league Allegri said, "He will have a great performance as he did in the first 30 minutes in the Champions League."

So far Ronaldo has scored 2 goals in five games for his new team Juventus. Ronaldo stunned the world when he moved from Real Madrid to Juventus in July in a Serie A record 112 million euro (then $131.5 million) deal.
