Manchester United host defending champions Chelsea at Old Trafford on Sunday. United sit in the second place and trail leaders Manchester City by 16 points with 11 games left and are just 3 points ahead of fourth-placed Chelsea.

Fresh off the first leg tie in the round of 16 of UEFA Champions League, United and Chelsea will be looking to one-up each other. Both teams drew their first leg match with their respective teams, but the contrast in performances was evident.

Chelsea’s match against Barcelona was a stellar contest, with both sides displaying their strengths on display. Chelsea had the bigger share of attacking attempts on goal, but the match ended with a 1-1 scoreline.

Whereas, Manchester United had a questionable performance against Sevilla. With a classic Jose Mourinho performance away from home, United rode on luck to survive Sevilla’s charge to a goalless draw.

Manchester United was in the news not only because of their on-field ineptitude but also because of off-field antics caused by a row between Paul Pogba and manager Jose Mourinho. He has questioned the boss’s team-setting flexibility and has been subsequently dropped to the bench since then.

However, Chelsea boss Antonio Conte believes that Pogba will start against his team on Sunday.

Premier League leaders travel to London to face Arsenal twice in a matter of 5 days. Once in the League Cup Final and once in the Premier League.

The sixth-placed Arsenal side has been an enigma this season. Thrashing teams to sometimes succumbing to minnows, they’ve never had momentum on their side.

Meanwhile, Manchester City have been in a scintillating form barring a blip against Wigan Athletic in FA Cup on Monday. Having lost only once this season, they’re looking to secure the Premier League title soon.

Elsewhere, Tottenham Hotspurs travel to Crystal Palace and Liverpool host West Ham.
