Premier League: Tottenham Hotspur Eyeing Win Over Wounded Manchester City

League leaders Manchester City travel to Tottenham Hotspur to get their momentum back on track after suffering three defeats on the trot. They faced the fourth-placed team in the Premier League in London on Saturday.

Buoyant after being victorious against defending champions Chelsea, Tottenham will be looking to take advantage of a wounded Manchester City whose weaknesses have exposed by their counterparts in Manchester United and Liverpool.

As Harry Kane returned to action much earlier than expected, Maurcio Pochettino’s men will be looking to make an impact by winning against the league leaders.

“We are in the race for top four and that for Tottenham is a massive achievement to finish in the top four for the third season in a row," said Pochettino on Thursday.

"That is so important, but the ambition is to win titles and one day the Premier League or Champions League," he added.

Elsewhere, Manchester United have a doubleheader this game-week as they face West Brom on Sunday and Bournemouth on Wednesday.

Chelsea, Burnley, Spurs and Brighton will also be playing two matches this game-week.

UEFA Champions League semi-finalists Liverpool’s manager Jurgen Klopp has said that the team should not have European hangover as they take on Bournemouth at Anfield on Saturday.

"We have a big chance here to create something for the future. At the moment we have to deliver performances, collecting points, winning. But the age group of the team is really good. They are still young and full of potential. My impression is they are all excited about being in this group." said the Red’s manager.
