Golden State Warriors have won their second straight NBA title and their third NBA title third time in a row. Stephen Curry scored 37 points while Kevin Durant added 20 and a triple-double to help the Warriors strengthen with a four-game sweep past the Cavaliers with a 108-85 win. Kevin Durant

The last four NBA finals have been played between the Warriors and the Cavaliers. Cavaliers have won just one out of these four finals.

The finals were a disaster for LeBron James who ‘pretty much played the last three games with a broken hand.’ The injury was a self-inflicted one and was a result of James punching the blackboard of the locker room in frustration after the first game loss. A dejected James spent the final minutes of the game on the bench.

"I let the emotions get the best of me and pretty much played the last three games with a broken hand," James said after the game. He appeared with a cast during the news conference.

Kevin Durant was awarded the Bill Russell Most Valuable Player Award.

Head coach Steve Kerr said, “This was the hardest one we've had by far. It was definitely the toughest from the standpoint that it’s the fourth year in a row that we’ve attempted to get back to the finals.”
