Morrocan Star Achraf Hakimi Moves To Borussia Dortmund

After Cristiano Ronaldo's latest move to Juventus, Another Real Madrid player Achraf Hakimi has signed Borussia Dortmund on a two-year loan basis.


Hakami who was only 19 years old, had represented Morocco in all three of their matches at the FIFA World Cup and became Bundesliga Club’s 6th signed player this summer. Hakimi was born and raised in the Madrid suburb of Getafe, but he represents Morocco at international level as both of his parents are from the same place.

The defender had made 11 appearances for Real Madrid last season and is now ready for a new journey.

Dortmund has already added goalkeepers Marvin Hitz and Eric Oelschlagel to their squad, along with midfielders Thomas Delaney and Marius Wolf and defender Abdou Diallo.   

Hakimi made 17 appearances for Real Madrid across all competitions last season, scoring twice and assisting once. He then went on to play every minute of Morocco’s World Cup campaign, where they came close to beating Portugal and Spain. Hakimi showed a good account of himself in Russia 

Hakimi played 9 times in La Liga, scoring twice, and played in both of his side's games against Tottenham in the Champions League.
