It seems Mohamed Salah has been awarded for his remarkable performance by Liverpool. Egypt forward player has signed a long-term contract with Liverpool Football Club. The deal contains a no release clause that will continue till 2023.

Salah played exceptionally well in his debut with the club, in which he scored 44 goals in just 52 matches following his £36.9 million ($48.6m) switch from Roma last summer. The footballer had the second highest goal strikes in the season behind Ian Rush. He was awarded Golden Boot for his 32 goals that came in just 38 matches of the Premier League.

Liverpool's boss Jürgen Klopp said, “I think this news can be seen for what it is; rewarding a person who performed and contributed greatly to the team and the club last season. It demonstrates two things very clearly also his belief in Liverpool and our belief in him."

The 26-year-old will be a key figure to the team and will continue to play for the major honours as he did in the last season. The Egyptian player scooped a number of awards including Footballer of the Year, Liverpool’s Player of the Year at the club’s annual awards evening.
