India will take on England in the series decider of the three-match series on Tuesday. Both the teams have won one match each and will aim to bag series win at Headingley, Leeds.

With less than 12 months left in the World Cup 2019 both the teams are focusing to make the best line up for the World Cup tournament. Both the teams know how a series win would impact the upcoming world cup.

After losing the series opener the Englishmen performed well in the second match. England learnt quickly from their mistakes, Root and skipper Morgan played their brilliant knocks of 113 and 53 runs respectively while Jason Roy and Bairstow showed signs of regaining their form throughout their innings. Pacers Liam Plunkett and David Willey performed with the ball, while Adil Rashid, Moeen Ali and Mark Wood supported the duo superbly.

Despite losing the second ODI the Indian side looks calm. The top-three of Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have been India's best performers with the bat since the 2015 World Cup, but the team needs a fixed and functioning middle-order by the time they return to England next year.

Indian bowlers conceded extra runs in the second ODI. Kuldeep Yadav scalped three wickets but gave away 68 runs in his 10 overs. Pacers Umesh Yadav, Hardik Pandya and debutant Sidharth Kaul proved costly. The bowlers now have to come up with something new to disturb the opponents, as Joe Root, Eoin Morgan, Jason Roy and Jonny Bairstow are all in good form.
