Post the initial failures in Indian Premier League 2018, Royal Challengers Bangalore made a stellar comeback on Thursday by beating the table toppers SunRisers Hyderabad by 14 runs at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru.

Apart from flying sixes and awe-inspiring display of fielding, the nail-biting victory has indefinitely has kept the RCB's playoff dreams alive. However, the journey was anything but easy. Having dropped the two sitters, the under-pressure skipper Virat Kohli seemed out of sync throughout.

Add in some bad decisions made by the umpire to Kohli's rising frustration. Among the many such incidences when the RCB captain's fury was apparent, one specifically made headlines when the third umpire declared SRH opener Alex Hales not out despite a clear catch.

Having scored 27 off just 2.4 overs, Hales played Umesh Yadav over mid-on and failed to refrain Tim Southee from running forward to take a low catch. The on-field umpires Anil Dandekar and Sundaram Ravi referred the decision to the Third umpire who ordered in favour of the batsman.

The decision not just shocked the host team, which was celebrating the dismissal a few seconds back but also the commentary panel, members of which have already watched the shot through various replays, confirming the wicket. Furious with the wrong judgement, Virat ran towards the on-field umpires.

Unable to convince the on-field umpires of a clear catch, Kohli asked one of the umpires, "Who’s the third umpire? Who?" However, before anybody could answer, he walked away. Skipper Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers managed to put 218 on board and ended up winning the crucial match.
