Mohammed Shami estranged wife Hasin Jahan is trying tooth and nail to get her husband since 2014 punished for his deeds. While the fast bowler has received clean chit from BCCI in the match-fixing allegations, Jahan still has a hope of getting him barred from the forthcoming IPL.

Jahan, who has accused Shami of infidelity and domestic assault was refused any help from the BCCI earlier. However, she didn't let the refusal halt her steps and knocked on the doors of Delhi Daredevils CEO Hemant Dua and requested him to bar him from season 11 of Indian Premier League.

"I kept my point in front of Hemant sir to not keep Shami in the IPL team until he resolves his family feud," Jahan told ANI. Mohammad Shami was retained by Delhi Daredevils in the IPL auction this January by using the 'Right to Match' for Rs 3 crore.

Earlier, Jahan has approached BCCI's acting president CK Khanna seeking help in the matter but failed in persuading the BCCI to put pressure on Shami for admitting his wrongdoings in public. The cricketing body refused to intervene in her personal matters which should be solved within the family.

"Hasin Jahan met me with a request that BCCI should look into the matter. I told her that it was their personal affair which should be settled within the family. It would be the interest of all, including Shami because he is in the Indian team and we would like him to perform well in the IPL and forthcoming England series," Khanna told ANI.

Before meeting the BCCI president, Jahan has said, "Shami is just trying to gain sympathy from media. He does not care about me and our daughter. I am living in a small guest house here but he had not contacted me even once to meet his daughter."

Shami recently met with an accident while travelling from Dehradun to Delhi and received some stitches on his forehead. Jahan claimed of going to meet him but was rather awarded with the "see you in court" comment. Seems like even Jahan is not willing to back out of the battle with a fight.

The Anti-Corruption Unit (ACU) of Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) recently freed the player of all match-fixing allegations levelled by his estranged wife Hasin Jahan and was eventually awarded a Grade B contract.
