Harbhajan Singh Criticizes Selectors Over Rohit Sharma's Omission From Test Squad

Rohit Sharma led-Indian team successfully lifted their 7th Asia Cup title by beating Bangladesh by three wickets. However, stand-in skipper was once again ignored for the upcoming two-match Test series against West Indies.

Indian Turbanator Harbhajan Singh looked surprised over the omission of in-form Rohit Sharma for the test series and took to his Twitter account to express it as he wrote, "No @ImRo45 in test team against West Indies. What r the selectors thinking actually??? Anyone have a clue ??? plz let me know as I can’t digest this".

Rohit Sharma looked in tremendous form in Asia Cup as he signed off tournament's 2nd highest run-scorer with 317 runs from five matches for India.

BCCI announced the 15-man squad for the upcoming two-match series on September 29, Rohit Sharma’s was not considered for selection. Instead, the selection committee included younger players such as Hanuma Vihari, Prithvi Shaw and Mayank Agarwal.

Rohit Sharma has played only 25 Test matches for India and made his debut in 2013. He has scored close to 1500 runs at an average of 39.97.

Not only, Harbhajan Singh, many cricket experts felt that Sharma deserved to be given another opportunity to cement his place in the side. However, the selection committee picked players who have performed tremendously well in first-class cricket in the past few seasons.
