France-Denmark Match Ends In The First Goalless Draw Of FIFA World Cup 2018

The first goalless draw of FIFA world cup, Russia was witnessed on Tuesday in match 37 when both the teams Denmark and France locked horns against each other bringing in ten changes across both teams.

The FIFA World Cup 2018, is progressing with a dramatic scene towards the knockout stage. Talking of matches of Group C, Peru defeated Australia by 2-0. Peru scored its first World Cup goal since 1982 and with this defeat, Australia have been eliminated from the world cup 2018.

One the main highlight of day 13 at FIFA World Cup 2018 was the match between Denmark and France that ended in a thrilling yet goalless draw. Interestingly both the teams were on the top of Group C and have entered the knockout round of 16.

The French team looked largely uninspired - even with their talisman Antoine Griezmann starting up front. Kylian Mbappe made a late cameo, but his introduction could not break the deadlock.

Both teams progressed to the next stage where France will face Argentina in the round of 16, on 30 June, at Kazan. Denmark, on the other hand, will face Croatia on 1 July, at Nizhny Novgorod.
