FIFA 2018: Group H Teams To Compete For Knockouts Tonight

Japan and Senegal will face Poland and Colombia respectively in their last group stage matches. Japan, Colombia and Senegal can still qualify for the knockouts

Japan vs Poland: Japan can still qualify for the round of 16 whereas the Polish team which is already going home will try to leave Russia with some points on the board. A draw against Poland will be enough to guarantee Japan's qualification in the round of sixteen, while a loss in the match can also lead to their qualification if other match results are in their favour.

Japanese Captain Makoto Hasebe said, “Four points from two games is a decent result, but we haven’t achieved anything yet.”

In other Group H encounter, Colombia will take on Senegal. The match is important for both the teams as they will compete for their spot in the round of sixteen. Colombia is at the third position with 3 points in two matches and is coming off a 3-0 victory over Poland that kept their knockout round qualification hopes alive, while Senegal is on the second position with 4 points in 2 matches.
