FIFA 2018: Belgium Stuns England To Win Group G

In the end phase of First stage matches of Group, G, fans witnessed the England and Belgium match, with both teams having already passed through to the Round of 16 before a ball had been kicked in the match.

On Thursday, Tunisia registered their first win at the FIFA World Cup in 40 years after beating Panama 2-1 at the Mordovia Arena in Saransk. 

In Match 45, Belgium defeated England by 1-0 at Kaliningrad stadium, Kaliningrad. With the win, Belgium top group with 100 percent record, winning all of their matches in World Cup, 2018, while England finished second bearing the loss.

Belgium became the third team to have a 100% win ratio at the 2018 World Cup, after Uruguay and Croatia. Belgium, with this registered their first win against England since 1936.

Belgium took the lead in the 51st minute, It was Adnan Januzaj who scored his first international goal, which earned a 1-0 win against England. Januzaj ensured that the fans would go home having got their money's worth.

From England, Marcus Rashford had best chance to reply, but thanks to Thibaut Courtois who made a fine save to deny the Manchester United striker. England found themselves in trouble with Stones replaced at the break, the Manchester City defender appearing on the bench with an ice pack applied to his calf.
