CWG 2018: Manu Bhaker Wins Gold, Heena Sidhu Gets Silver In Women's 10m Air Pistol Shooting

India's high schooler shooting sensation Manu Bhaker won the women's' 10m air pistol gold medal, shattering the games' record while Heena Sidhu staged a stirring comeback to bag silver at the 21st Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia on Sunday.

16-year-old Bhaker, put in a tremendous execution on Sunday morning at the Belmont Shooting Center as she stood her ground against more seasoned and more experienced shooters, terminating a sum of 240.9, a Commonwealth Games record.

The 28-year-old Sidhu stormed back from the face of elimination in a stunning manner to assert silver with an aggregate score of 234. The game-changing advantage for Heena came in the 15th and 16th shots when she scored a 10 and a 10.4 to move into third place. She continued to improve and managed to leapfrog Australia's Elena into second place.

As of now, India has secured ten medals with six gold, two silver, and two bronze.
