Nokia7.1 With 5.84-Inch HDR PureDisplay Launch In India For Rs 19,999

The Nokia 7.1 launched in India on Friday, at a price of Rs 19,999. The biggest highlights of the Nokia 7.1 includes 5.84-inch Full HD+ HDR PureDisplay with a notch, dual rear cameras with ZEISS Optics, a long-lasting battery and more.

The new smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC and is an Android One-certified device. Nokia India hadn't revealed the RAM, storage and battery details of the newly launched Nokia 7.1. But, we expect the India variant of the phone to sport the same configuration as the global variant.

SPECIFICATIONS: For optics, there is a 12-megapixel (RGB) primary rear camera with f/1.8 aperture,1.28 um pixel size, dual LED flash, ZEISS optics and a 5-megapixel (Monochrome) secondary rear sensor with f/2.4 aperture and 1.12um pixel size. At the front, there is an 8-megapixel AI enhanced camera with f/2.0 aperture, 84-degree FOV, and facial recognition.

Connectivity options on the Nokia 7.1 include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Sensors onboard the smartphone include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, electronic compass, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Dimensions are 149.7x71.19x7.99mm and weight is 159 grams.

There is a 3,060mAh non-removable battery under the hood with 18W fast charging, delivering 50 per cent charge in 30 minutes.

This is the successor to the Nokia 6.1 that was launched earlier this year. In India, the Nokia 7.1 will be available in two colours -- Gloss Midnight Blue and Gloss Steel.

It will be available offline across top mobile phone retailers across the country, as well as on nokia.com/phones.

As for Nokia 7.1 launch offers, the company has partnered with Airtel to offer prepaid subscribers 1TB of 4G data on eligible plans starting from Rs. 199. Postpaid Airtel subscribers.

On the other hand, the buyer will get additional 120GB of data along with a three-month Netflix subscription and a 1-year Amazon Prime subscription, on postpaid plans worth Rs. 499 or higher.

Those who decide to purchase the Nokia 7.1 using HDFC credit and debit cards, apart from EMI transactions, will get 10 per cent cashback via eligible offline stores.

The device was launched globally in October and has taken a couple of months to become available in India.
