Motorola Launches Moto Z3 In US: Take A Look At It's Price & Specifications

Lenovo-owned Motorola launched a long time awaited Moto Z3 at an event in Chicago, US on Thursday. Alongside the smartphone, Motorola had also launched a 5G Moto Mod in collaboration with Qualcomm,  which makes the Moto Z3 the first-ever smartphone to come with 5G support.

The newly launched smartphone which was well expected as the successor to the Z2 looks similar to the Z3 play. The Z3 has an aluminum body with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass display just as the Z3 Play and will be available in only one Ceramic Black colour.

Moto Z3 will be available from August 16, while 5G Moto Mod will arrive in the US exclusively in early 2019. Moto Z3 can be bought for $20 per month for 24 months and Motorola is offering up to $300 off on the phone under its device payment plan.

However, the Motorola company eventually confirmed that no more Moto Z-Series models will debut this year. This means, unlike the last year Moto Z family that included the Moto Z2 Force and Moto Z2 Play, there will be the Moto Z3 and Moto Z3 Play this year.

The smartphone is one of the thinnest handset available in the market with a thickness ranging 6.7mm. Let us look at some other attractive features:

  1. The new Motorola smartphone features a tall 6-inch Super AMOLED display with 1080x2160p resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio.
  2. The Moto Z3 is powered by Qualcomm's year-old flagship processor Snapdragon 835 chipset.
  3. The Moto Z3 comes in only one storage model with 64GB. The storage memory is expandable by up to 2TB via a microSD card with 4GB RAM.
  4. The Moto Z3 comes with dual camera setup with a primary sensor of 12-megapixel with f/2.0 aperture and secondary sensor also of 12-megapixel.
  5. The smartphone also comes with a dual LED flash for better picture capture in low-light situations. On the front, the Moto Z3 comes with an 8-megapixel sensor with an aperture of f/2.0.
  6. The smartphone is backed by a 3000mAh non-removable Li-Ion battery that the company claims is capable of lasting one full day on single charge. The Moto Z3 comes with Turbopower support.
  7. The Moto Z3 runs on almost stock Android. The smartphone comes with Android 8.1 Oreo.

It is learnt that the smartphone is rumoured to hit the Indian market till the end of the month alongside the Z3 Play, however, there is no official word about it.
