Mi Mix 2 And Mi Note 3 Launched In China, See Features And Specs

Xiaomi has announced two of its highly-anticipated smartphone Mi Mix 2 and Mi Note 3, successor to Mi Mix and Mi Note 2 on the same day. Although the smartphone is only launched in the Chinese market, it does reveal the features and specification of the upcoming phone.

The updated version 5.99 inches Mi Mix 2, is 11.9 percent smaller in body as compared to its successor which was 6.4 inches in screen dimension. It will be available in Black colour variant with Black lens coating on front and rear cameras.

The dual sim phone features a full HD display (1080x2160) with a pixel density of 403 ppi and a DCI-P2 colour gamut. Powered by Snapdragon 835 SoC, it runs with a 2.45Ghz processor paired with 6-8 GB of RAM and 64, 128, 256 GB of internal memory in the special edition.

It carries a 12-megapixel camera with Sony IMX386 sensor and 4-axis optical image stabilisation, 5-piece lens, and f/2.0 aperture while it bears a 5 megapixel camera on the front.

Along with the jaw dropping specifications, goes a solid 3400 mAh battery that gives a long power backup to the smartphone. While the regular variant has 151.8x75.5x7.7mm of dimension weighing 185 grams, the special edition measures 150.5x74.6x7.7mm and weighing 187 grams.

The Mi Note 3, on the other hand is also laced with advanced features and latest technology. Most notable being its Adaptable AI Beautify, which beautifies selfie based on an AI-based algorithm.

The smartphone has a 7-Series aluminium alloy frame with 4-sided curved glass body.

Apart from the looks, the phone features a 5.5 inch full HD display with 403 ppi pixel density and 94.4 percent NTSC colour gamut. Powered by Snapdragon 660 SoC, it runs on a 2.2 GHz processor which comes paired with 6GB RAM and 64-128 GB of internal storge.

It is also laced with a 12-megapixel dual camera with sensor and wide-angle lens with a f/1.8 aperture, and 4-axis optical image stabilisation. The setup can provide 2x optical zoom and 4K video capture. As for selfie camera, it has a 16-megapixel sensor camera with 2-micron pixels.

Since it is only launches in China there is no official price revealed in India, but as of estimation depending on the Chinese price, the phones may cost up to Rs 32,00 (CNY 3,299) for Mi Mix 2 and Rs. 24,500 (CNY 2,499) for Mi Note 3 base model.
