Specifications Leaked! Pricey Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Expected To Run On Snapdragon 632

Xiaomi Redmi Note series can undoubtedly be called the best selling product series of Xiaomi in India. The Indian market, being the biggest market of Xiaomi company is constantly cherished by the Chinese brand by introducing new smartpones every year for their Indian consumers. The variety of brand's smartphones in the range of Rs 15,000 has piqued the interest of many users.

Post the reports suggesting that Xiaomi would not launch a successesor of Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, the reports of Redmi Note 5 being tested has caused an uproar among the brand's lovers. Rumours suggest that the smartphone is expected to be launched in the second quarter of 2018 and will be priced higher than its predecessor at Rs15,700 for the base variant.

The release has reportedly been delayed as Xiaomi is waiting for Qualcomm to announce its latest  Snadragon 632 processor which is a toned down, underlocked varient of Snapdragon 636 chipset. The Snapdragon 632, however, retains the spectra of 160 ISP modem that is better optimised for dual camera setup.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 will work on MIUI 9, Android 7.1 Nougat and have a 5.99-inch full HD (1080x2160 pixels) display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone will supposedly run on Snapdragon 632 Processor and will sport 3/4GB RAM and 32/64GB onboard Storage. 

The last smartphone of the celebrated series, Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 was launched in August 2016. The Phone comes with a 5.50-inch toucscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels at a PPI pof 401 Pixels per inch and was priced at Rs.9,999 for starting variant.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is powered by 2GHz octa-core  Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 Processor and comes with 4GB & 3GB Ram. The phone packs 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. As far as cameras are concerned , the Xiaomi Note 4 offers a 13-megapixels primary camera on the rear and a 5-megapixels front shooter for selfies.
